7. Best news to date

I have been using 2.3RC2 on my laptop and I love it. But this announcement has got me doing the jig. It was mentioned that you will have support for streaming internet video, if I am not mistaken. Will you have that option under the My TV menu and will there be a search option? Man I hope so... You guys set the standard as far as Media Centers go. Thanks for your hardwork. It just shows that we are getting rip off by corporations like Microsoft who charge us an arm and a leg for limited software like Media Center.

9. Interesting

Sounds alot like the Meedio/MeediOS approach, which ,IMO, is a good one. And makes it more futureproof. Hopefully, MPII development will proceed faster than MeediOS has.

12. Media portal 2 must have HD support

Nice... But MAKE SURE YOU ADD FULL SUPPORT FOR HD (HD DVD/BLURAY/ EVERTHING HD)..
Without that Mediaportal 2 is just media portal 1 with new look.
