Hi Folks,

In think from the survey one could also conclude that the MP team should consider intergrating Xface skin in MP. With 14% it's by far the most used skin outside bluetwo. It's also the best maintained skin out there.

I admit I am biased. Personally I hate bluetwo. It's to childish for my taste, and it reminds me too much of MS's pathetic MCE 2005.

Imagine a 42" state of the art LCD TV, ditto HTPC, briljant MP software, and the visual icing on the cake? Some stupid blue Playmobil puppets and a totally outdated GUI.
But hey, that's just one opinion.

MP deserves a mature GUI.

10. Alternative skin conclusion

The reason Blue Two (and Wide) are so widely used could have to do with the fact that they are the most stable around. An alternative conclusion different from the one the team has made could be to increase stability on a nicer GUI. I personally like Xface, but last time I tried it, it wasn't stable enough.

By the way, I really LOVE MediaPortal. It must be one of the best Open Source projects around.

think there should have been a couple of options for "don't know" in the survey, ie native resolution, feel that may have been biased by duff advertising.
Also 50" is a very common plasma size but not featured in the options.
Very nice results presentation tho!!
