Version 1.1 of the skin LCARS Wide (wide screen 16:9; 1366x768)

The skin has amazing animations for a REAL Startrek feeling. No more hints at this place - let you surprise yourself...

Though it has a lot of animations, the skin size is moderate and the impact on the hardware is very low due to well optimized GFX.

Use it with MyVoice for a REAL Startrek experience!

Version 1.1:

LCARS Wide follows a special GUI concept (originally incorporated by Psycho Reptile). To benefit from this, you have to start MP with BasicHome screen.

LCARS Wide 1.1 allows the direct access to MyMusicvideos, MyTrailers, MyFilms, OnlineVideos and MP-TV-Series via the Video menu as well as direct access to MP-TVSeries and wwiTV.Com via the TV menu (if these plugins are enabled).

On BasicHome, the entry Music has been changed to Music Menu, where you can access all of the music related functions like MyRadio, MyStreamradio, MyLastFM, MyMusic, MyLyrics, Shoutcast, NowPlaying etc.

On BasicHome you will also find the new menu "Internet" with the preset internet-related applications Wikipedia, MyMail, Webbrowser, MySkype, MyNews, Worldmap, and MyDailyComics as well as the new menu "Games" with the games-related preset applications Mastermind, Hexxagon, Connect4, Chess, Minesweeper, Simon Says, Tetris and Sudoku. These two menus are optional and only shown if the respective plugins are enabled. You´ll find these plugins also in the RAR file. (A VERY BIG THX to Psycho Reptile for this additional menus!)

In Music you can now search globally for music titles with GlobalSearch. (Again, a VERY BIG THX to Psycho Reptile for his adaptation!)

So from the BasicHome screen you now have an fast access to (nearly) all important plugins without the need to scroll through all the plugins within the Home- or Plugins menu.

LCARS Wide 1.1 supports all standard plugins of MediaPortal 1.0.0.0 RC1 and latest SVN (tested with Rev. 19158), plus:

The skin is fully compatible with MP 1.0.0.0 RC1 (and latest SVN).

INSTALLATION: First delete LCARS Wide in your skin and cache directories, then copy LCARS Wide from the LCARS WIDE 1.1.rar into your skin directory. Copy the .dlls into your folder ...\plugins\windows. Use MP Configuration to enable/disable the additional plugins (extra menu, game menu, global search).
