PureVision follows a special GUI concept. To benefit from this, you have to start MP with the BasicHome screen. In this screen, all actually running Videos or Audios are displayed in the big TV screen and the necessary information in the Hifi equipment next to it.

PureVision 1.4 allows the direct access to MyMusicvideos, MyTrailers, MyFilms, OnlineVideos, Relict TV, Media Slayer and MP-TV-Series via the Video menu as well as direct access to MP-TVSeries and wwiTV.Com via the TV menu (if these plugins are enabled).

BasicHome contains the Music Menu (where you can access all of the music related functions like MyRadio, MyStreamradio, MyLastFM, MyMusic, MyLyrics, Shoutcast, NowPlaying etc.) as well as the menus "Internet" (with the preset internet-related applications Wikipedia, MyMail, Webbrowser, MySkype, MyNews, Worldmap, and MyDailyComics etc.) and "Games" (with the games-related preset applications Mastermind, Hexxagon, Connect4, Chess, Minesweeper, Simon Says, Tetris and Sudoku). These menus are optional, the respective buttons will only be displayed if the plugins are enabled.

So from the BasicHome screen you now have an fast access to (nearly) all important plugins without the need to scroll through all the plugins within the Home- or Plugins menu.

In Music you can search globally for music titles with GlobalSearch.

The topbar contains an info button (i) to access the skin info page.

PureVision 1.4 is prepared for RSS and weather information on BasicHome.

The skin is fully compatible with MP 1.0 RC2 (and latest SVN - tested with Rev. 19834).

Bugfixes:

INSTALLATION:
Delete any old PureVisionHD from your skin folder (normally ...\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skins).

Clear the skin Cache folder (Windows XP-> C:\Documents and Settings\AllUsers\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
Vista-> C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache

Copy "PureVisionHD" to your skin folder (normally ...\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skins)

Copy the following *.dll files into your MP plugins\windows folder (normally ...\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows):
Extra Menu.dll, Game Menu.dll, GUIGlobalSearch.dll AND MP-TVSeries.dll.

Copy MP-RSSTicker.dll into your MP plugins\process folder (normally ...\TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\process)


CONFIGURATION:
Configure MP in Config\General to start MP using BasicHome.
Enable/disable the new plugins via MP Config.
Configure the RSS-Ticker plugin to your needs.
Import the PureVision_TVSeries.formatRules in MP Config TVSeries.

Start MP.
