MediaPortal WANTS YOU!
There are some fantastic developers past and present that have graced the project you know and love - MediaPortal - however we need MORE!
If you're handy with C++ / C# and want to contribute by enhancing or adding a plugin to MediaPortal then come and talk to the development team on IRC (#mediaportal)...

So who is responsible for what? Well lets meet the development team shall we...
Frodo (aka God, aka Master) Lead programmer and project owner and is responsible for the TV plugin, Video plugin and also general playback & recording.
Agree (aka Grumpy, aka Heavy Metal) DVB programming guru and a nice guy... really! He is responsible for the SkyStar 2 support, DVB in general (with Frodo) and the master of the new Transport Stream recording engine for the next release (oops let the cat out of the bag).
mPod (aka Poodle) mPod is tied up with a new business venture at the moment but he's responsible for the great Hauppauge remote plugin, and setup.
There are some great new plugins being developed by the extended team...
James Is working on the WebEPG, I know a lot of you have been testing it over the last month and has become a huge hit, this is now been pulled into the project.
Maschine and LordMessi Looking for a Web Interface for MediaPortal - well look no further, Maschine and company have been working diligently on a brilliant web front-end for MediaPortal. They were aided by Samuel337 & AndyQ .
JoeDalton got a VFD for your case then Joe's plugin is for you. If it's currently not supported then I'm sure Joe can fix it :-)
ZipperZip has made a great trailers plugin to stream (and soon) to download movie trailers from different language sites.
Hamheed has created a very valuable tool for MediaPortal - a SkinEditor! Wanting to skin for MediaPortal then this will help you with the basics that's for sure.
Speaking of skins Harley & Mr.Mitchell provide and ongoingly maintain the ProjectX and MetalMedia skins respectively and MrMario64 does Blue2.
And for me DMAN_LFC Well I do the web site, sh*t loads of testing, forum moderator, bug hunter, dabble a bit with skins & TV card support as well.
