coreavc 1.6 improves h.264 playback

If you are using coreavc for TV and/or movies in MediaPortal, then you should download the latest update which fixes a playback problem with some dvb-s2 channels.

I have been testing the latest 1.6 version for quite some time now and have not noticed any problems with it.

1. audio problems with HD .ts files

hi
I have audio problems when playing back HD .ts files recorded with dvbviewer:
1. within mp how can I set audio channel 2 as default
2. picture breaks up when audio starts- what is best hd/audio codec combination

note i'm using latest stable release

2. Confused...

I would love to be able to use CoreAVC, but so far I have not been able to get mkv files to play in MP using CoreAVC (error: vmr9 unable to render the file). TS files do play, but for some reason vobsub doesn't seem to kick in so I don't get any subs. Back to ffdshow for me I'm afraid.

3. LiveTV problems

Live TV is no good for me with latest coreavc.
I get the the Diagonal Sawtooths in moving objects.
