1. Thanks!!
You guys (any girls?) are awesome. Mediaportal is already very stable. WAF-factor is really high and since 0.2.2 we only run Mediaportal in our house - no ordinary TV. The only "downside" is how spoiled you get with this solution!

Great work! Thanks!

1. stabilizing the basics
Very Stable are u kidding me?
The basic aren't stable, timeshifting don't works in most cases, ok they work if i don't need them. very frustating. Hope the basics (time shifting (forward, backward), play recordings if recording, switch from radio to live tv, playlist with external player (Video)...) will be stable like hell

Thx

2. try to understand
@Quocktimius

you should try to understand that just because it is not working for YOU does not mean that it is broken in general.

3. MP is stable
I have been running nothing but MP and a projector now for more than 3 years. Because I run a dedicated HTPC that I do not browse the net or install any programs other than those required I have had a stable system for at least 2 years now.
I have set this up for a few friends who have complained about "unstable" MP systems. In every case when I dropped in a new HD, installed windows, drivers, dot net and MP they have had a stable system.
Fiddle with the guts of your TV and see how stable it is :-)
Love MP, look forward to 1.0 and really appreciate the effort everyone has put in.

4. Why is it unstable?
@Quocktimius

I'm finding MP perfectly stable, despite staying mostly up-to-date with SVN versions. It seems to me that most of the problems you describe have been fixed with the new TSReader.ax filter. Try a recent SVN and create a text file in the root of C: called "usetsreader.txt" and see what it's like then.

5. 2.3.0, even...
Further to the last comment, forget a recent SVN. If stability is your concern, just update to 2.3.0 - the new filter's in that too.
