1. MP fan ;-)
I love all the things you guys do but why don't you put more options in the downloader ?

whit different levels of stability to pick from.

1.Developer Version
(unstable, for alfa testers)
2.Preview Version
(mostly stable, for beta testers)
3.RC Version
(reasonable stable, for people that wants the latest but still whit some stabilety)
4.Release Version
(stable, for people that wane run bug free)

1. Euh...
They do that already, don't they?

0.2.3.0 is stable, and the team releases RC's every time they are close to a stable release to polish the last bugs out.

2. nope this works differnt
Nope MP is build up from a lot of different block's
And we have on average 1 to 2 releases a year.
But in the mean time between them some one can finish a nice peace of, like for example a simple update 100% stable that can make MP a lot more useful for you.
Now you can only use it if you install a SVN whit the danger of other components getting unstable.

By implementing my suggestion you would get something like the same as windows update, if something is fixed ore improved you get a update.

An different from windows update you could pick the level of stability you can live whit.

3. I agree
yeah it would be nice to be able to pick up some of the obvious bug fixes without taking on the rest of a full svn build.

4. Well...
Stable releases are meant to give users new features, SVN builds are not, they are released for entirely different reasons. Giving users new features in separate releases in between only requires time I much rather see those people stick into fixing bugs. And I'm pretty sure they feel the same way.

Not to say I don't like to see new features more often though :) Who doesn't! But we have to realize this is a open source project where people work on it for the fun of it. Adding tasks that needs to be done double is a waste of time. Just have some patience guys :)

5. With
In all the years I don't think I've ever corrected someone's spelling. It's never worth the time. But for some reason this one is really bugging me. It's spelled "with" not "whit". Sorry.
