that sounds nice!

What if you add a question (while installing) if MP is allowed to open the firewall? (like some programs do through UPNP to your router)

1. allready happening

the mediaportal installer will open all required ports in the windows inbuild firewall.

but we can not do that foe "every firewall available".

And you do not have to open a port in your router if you want to watch tv in your local network.
