Description:

This application allows an MCE remote’s ‘Green Start Button’ to start Mediaportal, just like it does for Windows Media Centre (MCE).

from vojat - Hi, when I use this plugin with vista ultimate the mediaportal AND microsoft media center starts up. Is it possible to stop microsoft media center to start?

from northern - same problem here, both mediaportal AND microsoft media center starts up.

from Lomax - Use Vista Manager (http://www.yamicsoft.com/vistamanager/software/vistamanager.exe) to disable Microsoft Media Center on Vista.

from patricon - can u modify this utility to work with Genius Media Cruiser 810 Keyboard?? i've donwloaded it, but when i press the green button on my keyboard, it doesn't work...

from gunk - To stop media centre from starting: Run regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion->Run and delete the entry for ehtray.exe and then kills the ehtray.exe process if it is running.

from BillyGates - Works great on a Dell E1505 with Windows XP SP2/MCE

from htpcchap - Works in the beginning but after a couple of reboots I get a Windows error saying that this application has terminated/crashed and waits to send an error report. Is there a way to debug this ?

from oekie - you need a delay on your mptray.install at startup for vista

from Justchill - works @vista ultimate 32 bits + MCE remote
