Monitor Power Control Download

Description:

Just a simple process plugin to prevent windows power saver settings from turning off the monitor during video play.
I made this because the only working alternative I could find was change the power settings so theat the monitor doesn't turn off for hours which wastes power.

Install in buy placing the MonitorPowerControl.dll in the pluginsprocess directory in your MediaPortal directory.

Works for both Vista and XP
Tested with MediaPortal RC1

from homeroarg - Nice plugin, very useful. It's nice to have the source code, allowed me to modify it to prevent monitor shutdown whenever MP is running, not only when media is playing. :)

from Arkard - Great PlugIn. Works also with Vista and RC2. Maybe it should get a better category than Video/Movies. Was very hard to find it in the Forum!
