now you can ad categories and countries to your favorites. Favorites has now 3 categories ( channels, countries, caregories ).
23-03-2007 - update
Some people with a trial version of nod32 virusscanner where getting a warning about the generated xml wwitv2.xml whcih is generated by the plugin to store channeldata. I found out it was the channelname Hmall Shop TV which was cousing the warning why i do not know. So when i changed the name to Hmall Shop-TV no warning. Because this warning may cause damage to the name of mediaportal i decided to make this change in the code. See the forum topic of wwitv for more information. I asked nod32 for the reason.
16-03-2007 - new version.
- refresh button. When you use this new plugin for first time you have to pust refresh button first. After that it is not needed untill you see tha wwitv support new channels and want them in your list. So no internet connection is made anymore when you navigate. Everything is locally. Beside offcourse when you click at a channel.
- wwitv made a special page so the plugin does not have to search the entire website for data. So when they make changes to website it does not affect the plugin. So far more stable and when you do not refresh it even does not connect to the wwitv website.
- Various skin changes ( for instance larger description ).
- Better language support ( remove favorites/ add favorites ) is now language independent.
- extensions of streams are visible. Some streams are not working now ( .ram, m3u ...). I decided not to hide them because maybe mediaportal playyer supports them in future. But for now you can recognice them and not click click at them. I also added bandwith again in list.
- when you are in countryview at the description i also show the category. Same for category but then country. And in favorite view i show them both ( favorites added before installing this version will stay empty. But if you delete the old one and them again it works.
- webcams are added as a category ( also in countrylists ).
- better navigation. When you click at a country and want to go back it focusses on the previous selection. So it does not go at the top of the list. ( also category, favorites ). You even can go back when you watch a stream.
- Streams start again at full screen and not in preview window.
If you mediaportal language is english it shows categorie instead of category. This is a mistype in the mediaportal language xmls. So i cannot do anything about that. I also added again ans svn version and a stable version. So pick the right one for yourself.
maybe i forgot changes but i mentioned the at the forum ( search for wwitv ). If you have problems post them there. So enjoy.

This is a zip file whcih includes a svn version. So if you do not have probkems with the wwitv plugin released on 03-02-2007 then you do not have to download this zip. If you have problems download the zip file and use the one wwitvplugin.dll the SVN version.
03-02-2007 Updated: nowthe menu is shown in your mediaportal language. Within the plugin you can select 5 languages which are supported by wwitv.com website.
Beside countries you can select categories.
Different bugfixes. Also around newyear the wwitv website changed so the old plugin did not work anymore. This is also fixed in this version.
the navigation improved.
If you chosse categories teletext is not supported. Because it is not a stream. I also suggest to override the old plugin dll and also to remove in your .....Program FilesTeam MediaPortalMediaPortal directory the old WWITV.xml ( also .bak ) with your favorites. Maybe it works with the old one but i do not support it if not.
The wwITV.Com provides a frontend to the wwITV.Com website.
This is a website that collects links to streaming media sorted by country.
The plugin provides a list of these links and a button to change the selected country.
Favorites can be saved.
