Dual PVR card information and testers
Written by DMAN, on 07-01-2006

The cards don't have to be Hauppauge cards. Also this is NOT for DVB card users. We are looking for more information pertaining to bug 575 in Mantis.

http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.sourceforge.net/mantis/view.php?id=575

To help us squash this bug please test CVS from today hopefully once and for all this is gone. If not please email me ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with your PVR types that conflict when both are inserted in your HTPC and the MediaPortal.log file containing the error whilst both are installed in the system.

Well I'm not certain about doing any CVS test (or should I say not sure if I'm that capable anymore :) ), but I do have an AIW 2006 and currently an HDTV Wonder that wont work together. I have an TV Wonder Pro on he way that I'm also anxious to test and setup together. Hope I have better luck with that combination

I have a PVR500 and a PVR250. I can't run both cards at the same time in MP, so did not include the PVR500 in the MP setup. If I configure both cards, I wont get any signal from either card.

Whoa! I have to re-submit my reply to this. After the last reply I did finaly manage to get both cards working together after setting the sound to "What You Hear" and setting the HDTV Wonder card to not record. Fired right up, all channels crystal clear. Also managed to finally get the EPG data to show correctly and even grouped all the unused channel numbers so when I enter a ch on the remote it now goes to that ch and not off by 1. Still waiting on the TV Wonder Pro.

HOW ABOUT SOME P.I.P. coding now guys ???? PLZZZZZZZZZZZZ :)

I have a PVR250 and Fusion5 Lite and with the 5 Lite active, the PVR250 doesn't work. I'll give this a try in te next day or so.

As always, thank you, folks for your continued hard work!
