MediaPortal 1.0 RC1 - coming soon

We are preparing the final changes for the release of MediaPortal 1.0 RC1.
With this release we will make some fundamental changes.

It now contains MediaPortal 1.0 RC1, TV-Server 1.0 RC1 and the first version of our brand new DeployTool.

With this tool you are able to install every type of MediaPortal and/or TV-Server enviroment with just a few mouse clicks.

Automatic svn-builds have been suspended to ensure that they won't break current 0.2.3.0 installations. Once RC1 has been released the svn-builds will continue shortly after it with improved way of installing them.

Once we release MediaPortal and TV-Server 1.0 RC1, the svn builds will require these to be installed.

More details about the exciting RC1 release will be part of the release news next week.

Sounds very well, thanks to all the developers for such a great piece of software! When it's done, inform the German c't (computer magazine, www.heise.de) about it, I'm sure they will test MP and write a nice article!

Great news!! I'll make sure I set the debug logging as high as possible and submit all the logs/bug reports as I can so we get a very stable and bug free 1.0 release!

Yes, yes... MP 1.0 RC1 but keyboard input (OSK) still doesn't works and it has bugs... :(
