MediaPortal 1.0 RC4 RELEASED |

Today we are proud to announce the release of MediaPortal 1.0 RC4.
So what's the current development progress ?
The development of MediaPortal 1.0 is going extremely well and the latest svn revision is working very nicely.
The wide version of our new default skin named Blue3 is nearly finished and only needs some final polishing to which everyone
can contribute by testing it.
As a result this release candidate will closely represent the final version of MediaPortal 1.0.
When will MediaPortal 1.0 final be released?
This is the most exciting part of the news...
We will follow our "tradition" and release MediaPortal 1.0 final before Christmas 2008!
What can the community do?
We need your help to find and fix still existing issues in MediaPortal and the TV-Server. If you find a bug please
report it to the according forum section.
Besides we would be very happy to receive some help from the skinners among our community to help with the final polishing of Blue3 and Blue3 wide. If you want to help us with working on the Blue3 skin, please visit the Blue3 Feedbackforum .
As always we are happy to receive patches from our community developers.
If you want to send us an updated translation of MediaPortal, EPG grabber scripts, tuning details or movie information grabbers, please post them in the according forums.
One of our Team Members will take care about the submissions, and once reviewed, integrate them into MediaPortal.
