New Wiki online
on 13-03-2006

Today our new WIKI went online!
One of the benefits of the new wiki system is that you dont have to learn wiki syntax to be able to add contend. You can choose if you want to use the text- (wiki syntax) or the GUI- (wysiwyg) Editor. Using the GUI editor is as simple as using Word.

Target of the new wiki is to provide the users and new deveoplers with all the important informations they need at one place:

  • MediaPortal Manual
  • QuickReference
  • FAQ
  • Supported TV-Cards
  • ContributorsGuide
  • Recommed HTPC Configurations
  • Tips and Tricks
  • ...
and much more will be availabe.

In order to keep the informations up to date and to add much content as quick as possible we are looking for dedicated writers. If you are interested send a email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

The wiki looks good. I think you should put links from each page in the Setup program directly to the correct wiki page describing it. I think this will help people find answers to their questions much easier.
