Screen Survey Results and 1.0 RC3

MediaPortal Screen Survey

We would like to thank all MediaPortal users who participated in the survey. We received almost 3000 responses from you.

The results are quite interesting. We did not expect that 16:9 and Full HD displays are as common as the survey results show among our user base.

The Top 10 list of the most used skins is also a surprise.

We decided to release the results of the survey, so everyone interested can have a look at them:

MediaPortal 1.0 RC3 comes soon !

We have started to prepare the release of MediaPortal 1.0 RC3.

Until then, we will not release new svn builds on friday.

The RC3 release should be available in about 14 days.

some interesting results on the survey. although i wasn't too surprised to see most are now using widescreen lcd displays that are 32" and over.

a tip from me regarding the bluetwo skin... merge it with indigo and you would have the perfect result! :)

4. blue two

I'm amazed that so many people use blue two! I personally can't stand it!

Although I'm eager to see blue three ;-)

5. RC3

LCD displays became quite cheap these days, also I think the MP community got a bias for technology so the results are not surprising to me.
