Support for Software Encoders

We are now ready to add 'software encoding' cards into the DVR-MS recording and timeshifting engine.

Notes:

1. You'll need a Pentium 4 2.8Ghz equivalent or faster processor.

2. You'll need a TV card which provides a PVR application and hence provides MPEG-2 encoders to be installed.

3. Control over the Encoders cannot be done at this time within MediaPortal. Set the quality with your supplied PVR application - you should only have to do this once.
