Spring Cleanup

As the release is approaching, we made a difficult decision on some plugins which are no longer maintained by the original developers and still miss some major features or contain bugs.

We removed 5 plugins so far from the official distribution and offer them as a download to all users, so we're able to offer you the most bug-free MP distribution we can.

Click "Read more..." for further information on future development.

All 5 downloads contain the compiled DLLs for every user plus the source code. So everybody is strongly encouraged to take over those plugins for further development.

The original sources also are still under SVN version control, so any serious developer should contact DMAN or mPod (preferable on IRC) to query continued development access after he has changed the sources.

It's a good decision, these plugins are very outdated now and are just hampering development of MP. Having them as optional downloads is the way to go.

Yes it is. Altough the MyBurner plugin is back in development.

Maybe its time for 0.2RC5 as retuneing of tv card and now the removal of the excess plugins, would give a cleaner testbed for all to try. I know its not long since RC4, but a lot has happened since then.
