Overview
Manually reconnect a share that has been set offline by MediaPortal and Windows.
Description of Change
Reset or refresh detected offline share(s)
When using the Wake-On-Lan feature and a network share is unavailable (for example, you use your notebook outside your home network and you want to use MediaPortal for local media) you can suffer from slow start up and navigation in Video / Music / Pictures.
When not using the Wake-On-Lan feature and a network share is unavailable, MediaPortal will set the share to offline mode (only when WOL is unchecked in MP Configuration) and will not try to load it again while navigating in GUI.
If the share is online, this option will be ignored. This means faster GUI navigation.
Use Reset or Refresh detected offline share(s) by using the Video / Music / Pictures context menu to make MediaPortal retry to check if the offline shares are back online and set them to online.
