Question

Why don't certification logos display for my movies?

Background

There are several possible reasons why certification logos don't display:

  1. The value in the Certification field for your movie contains additional text such as 'rated R for sexual content'
  2. The skin you use does not provide certification logos, or not for your country.
  3. Your skin does support certification logos for your country, in country sub-folders, but you have not selected a country in Logos Setup.

Answer

  1. Update the certification value for your movie using MyFilms grabbers (which grab only the value not text wherever possible)
    1. You can easily find all movies with invalid certification values by selecting View > Show alol > Certification in MyFilms.
    2. You can globally update all invalid values using AMCUpdater > Update Movies
  2. Select the MyFilms logos pack in Logos Setup to see if certification logos for your country are supported or add them to the MyFilms logos pack, or the skin you use. See Custom Artwork.
  3. If the skin you use (or MyFilms logos pack) does support certification logos for your country, make sure you have entered the two digit country code in the country box in Logos Setup.  Note, the code must correspond to the sub-folder name that contains the certification logos for your country.
