Overview

Using Ember Media Manager (EMM or EmberMM) to manage your movies and import the generated nfo files to MyFilms.

Introduction

Ember Media Manager is an open source catalog/organizer for media files stored on your computer or network.

It is also possible to use NFO files created by other apps to get the movie info to the MyFilms database , see the NFO Files Setup Guide. 
You can also create NFO files from Moving Pictures and Import Moving Pictures DB to MyFilms. 

Setup

EMM 

As of v 6.0.0  MyFilms can import NFO files which are e.g. generated by EmberMM. The default NFO grabber script works with the following settings in Ember:

Movie sets will be imported too.

Advanced Grabber Options

Here is an example for a custom grabber script setting if you use e.g. a folder.jpg as movie cover:

  1. Open the AMCUpdater and click Grabber Options:

     
  2. Go to the Detail page, click on the Parameter drop down box and choose URL Cover:

     
  3. Change the Key Start entry to this:
