Overview

MediaPortal provides a variety of layouts you can use according to your preference. 

Selecting a Layout

Normally you may select a Layout using the Layouts Button on the Menu:

 Selecting 'Layout" will display a list of Layouts so you can easily see which ones are available and choosed the one you wish. 

Layouts Menu

• List
• Icons (Small Thumbnails)
• Big Icons (Large Thumbnails)
• Filmstrip
• Cover Flow
• Playlist (only available in playlist windows)
• Big Icons List (Album) (only avaiable in some windows like Music, Recorded TV)

Not all layouts are available in all windows, and extensions choose which layouts to support in their plugin. However, in most windows, the List, Icons, Big Icons and Filmstrip and Cover Flow layouts are available.
