Can I convert  my Moving Pictures database to My Films?

If you wish to convert your existing Moving Pictures database for use in My Films, as well as Ant Movie Catalog or another movie catalog app. you can use either:

• MovingPicturesXML process plugin to export to XML - especially good if you have many DVDs and Blu-rays
• MovPicNFO tool - to export to NFO Files -  will also export fanart and covers but only one fanart image will display in MyFilms

See Import Moving Pictures DB tutorial for details. However, neither method is perfect and will require some updates to take full advantage of all the additional fields and features which MyFilms supports. In the long run it may be easier to create a[ New Catalog|New Catalogs] in MyFilms.
