This is a checklist for releases

Checklist

1. If there are skin changes, update the skin version in myfilms.xml default skin files
2. Create a release package (Guzzi)
3. Add release package somewhere (usually this User page for Guzzi)
4. Send mail with link to testers for a “short install and basic functions test” - If confirmed to be good, we continue…
5. Post new download file in MP Repo.
6. Update MPEI (xmp2) with new changelog and download file link (from MP Repo)
7. Generate new update.xml in SVN
   Note: ONLY generate a new update.xml when you want the version to appear in MPEI for users - if we use the same project file and update.xml filename, each release will be ADDED to update.xml when we generate a new one.
8. Commit the new xmp2 project file and  “update.xml”  to Google Code SVN
9. Update listing in Repo (again@) – and update MyFilms version #, so it appears as “last updated at” (new download was already added in setup 5)
10. Update Change log in Wiki (also for skin changes if there are any)
11. Update first forum post – and add update info – that is “summary” for release
