Overview

How to enter text within MediaPortal.

Introduction

Throughout MediaPortal there are many places where you can enter text, such as when entering search terms.

MediaPortal provides a standard Virtual keyboard which is used in many features and extensions

Virtual Keyboard

You may use the virtual keyboard in either standard or SMS input mode (like on your mobile phone). Use the SMS toggle button to switch modes:

To delete characters, use BKSP, or use the arrow keys to navigate to the character(s) you wish to delete then press BKSP to remove them.
