Features

• supports various providers (similar to onlinevideos), so only one plugin is required instead having each provider within it's own plugin: sample providers

Supported Providers

• Frankfurter Allgemeine
• National Geographic
• Starobserver

Wishlist for future develpments

• Besides downloading a picture it also scrapes (if the provider supports it)
  • picture title
  • photographer
  • picture summary / description
  • category
• The usage of the content in MP2 should be configurable, it could be
  • used as a background in
    • the home menu only
    • all menus
    • used as a screensaver replacement (no analog clock anymore)
  • for each usage a separated provider can be selected
• it could have it's own workflow model (screen)
  • allowing to open the picture using the picture player
  • browsing previous days
  • browsing by category
  • browsing other providers
• possibility to enable/disable/hide some providers
• additional providers
