Overview

This page describes the possibility to zoon into pictures within the PicturePlayer.

Proposal

Zoom mode activation / deactivation

By pressing ChannelUp the picture is zoom mode is enabled and zoom level is changed immediately.

The zoom mode is being disabled by

• pressing Back / Escape
• reducing the zoom level to the default one
• starting a slide show

For mouse control the picture player OSD contains buttons to zoom in and out of a picture.

(optional) If controls are not visible (mouse is not used), the OSD could give the user the information to use ChannelUp/down for zooming.

Navigation while zoom mode is enabled

Navigation on the picture can be done by Left / Right / Up / Down.

The zoom level is being displayed in picture player OSD.

Additionally a small thumbnail of the complete picture is being displayed and a frame / rectangle within this thumbnail indicates the current visible, zoomed area.
