Can I setup My Films for different users of the same movie catalog database?  Will it track watched count separately?

Background

You can create as many 'profiles' or configs as you wish in My Films, even if they all access the same movie catalog. 

Answer

Yes, My Films supports multi-user setups.  You can either use the Setup Wizard to create a new config with different settings for the same catalog, or you can copy a config to a new name and modify it. You can even filter which movies display for each user(s), select a different start view, layout, sort order, custom display items etc.

However, you do not need to create separate configs for different users, or even for different clients on your network!

As of v 6.0.0 My Films automatically supports 'multi-user states' for AMC4 catalogs and keeps track of the user ratings (including Trakt ratings) and watched date and count for each user, plus the global watched count by all users.  You do not even need to create a separate config if you don't want to. You can add users directly in My Films and track each user's watched status for the same catalog. See Multiple Users for more details.
