MSI offers the possibility to log an installation, which can help during development of the setup or to identify installation issues.
To enable logging to a file, you need to start the installer in the following way:
msiexec /i MP2-Setup.msi /l*v MP2-Setup.txt
The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.
