Well, Roy Nilsen that’s my name & the age it’s 39. Live in Norway in a town called Moss, divorced & have 2 kids (13 year old boy & 11 year old girl).
Nickname “ronilse” comes from my first e-mail address & it’s been used everywhere after that (yeah, bad fantasy I know).
Work (real world) as a team coordinator in a manufacture company & no it’s not IT related ;-) , but as many other I have been building computer for myself & family & friends (& their friends) for many years.

Yeah, it's me early in the morning with coffe (from my daughters collection)
Found MP early in 2005 when searching for a replacement for a computer with Winamp, Bang & Olufsen (BeoPlayer) & MCE installed & which was connected to TV/Stereo for my music collection.
After using MediaPortal for a couple of minutes I liked it & still do. & now with several TV cards, etc I just love it all.
To give something back I joined the test team for about a year ago & try to help out with what’s necessary (most of my time goes to testing & helping people on forum/IRC).

Hobbies yeah….. other then MediaPortal, hmmmm music (other then the music itself, classic guitar & drums, dj’ing, sound/light settings), collecting Bang & Olufsen stereo (have about 20 now), GF which steels some of the time & “The Pub” of course.

& not to forget the wonderful team/community that’s around MP, without that I would not been here at all ;-)

PS! Spelling errors where made for you to keep.
