Finally MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 is out!

The time has come! During the last month Team MediaPortal was busy fixing almost every issue you've reported for the RC3. Now the final version of 0.2.3.0 is out and can be considered the next stable release.

The new installer is Vista-approved and does work quite well on most systems.

Despite of all rumours we are still on track to simplify the installation of our next generation TV engine.

However some people are familar with the fact that our filters need a litte more work to overcome issues introduced mainly by DVB-Streams of providers which do not follow the standards. Until we are sure the tvservice is stable and safe for "Prime time usage" we will continue to support the "old" inbuilt TV plugin as well.

For now we hope that you enjoy our new MediaPortal 0.2.3 release and report any bugs in our Quality Assurance Forum.

Stay tuned for further information on upcoming projects in our development pipeline Wink

Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
