With DVB(-T, -C and -S/S2) a new way of broadcasting subtitles was introduced, subtitles are no longer (for some channels) broadcasted as part of the image but as a separate stream. There are two ways of broadcasting the subtitles that used today in Sweden:
- DVB
- Teletext (Swedish: Text-TV)
To enable subtitles you need to use TV-Server and configure the Subtitle settings tab of TV Client.
Below is a list of channels broadcasting DVB/Teletext subtitles.
