Music DSP allows you to configure Digital Signal Processing options using either the default BASS Music player, or VST (Virtual Studio Technology) and Winamp plugins,
BASS DSP/FX
- Dynamic amplification - Default: off
- When selected, you may choose on of three presets: Soft , Medium or Hard, or use the slider to select the amplification
Once you have found the setting you desire, press the Set button to select it.

- Compressor - Default: off
- Changes the threshold for the compressor
- Test file - select an audio file to test your setings
- Play/Stop - play the selected test file to test and tweak your settings
VST/Winamp
- Available plugins - displays any plugins you have installed in the Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MusicPlayer\plugins\dsp folder
- Selected plugins - press the left/right arrow buttons to select the plugins you wish to use
- Plugin Configuration - Press the plugin configuraton button to configure the highlighted selected plugin
- Test file - select an audio file to test your setings
- Play/Stop - play the selected test file to test and tweak your settings
