Overview

Schedule a scan to import new music files to your music database, especially if they are stored on a device not always available to MediaPortal.

Introduction

The MusicDB Reorganization plugin scans your music folders (shares) and imports the files at a predefined time based on the schedule you configure.

This is especially useful if your music collection is stored on a NAS (Network-attached storage).  Since MediaPortal may not be running, the Music Share Watcher (i.e. "Auto-Update DB on changes in share") will not be notified.

You may configure the MusicDB Reorganizaiton plugin to schedule the update.
