Overview

Select options to save your screen or reduce power consumption when MediaPortal is idle.

Screensaver

You may also select or change Screensaver settings within the MediaPortal interface, see Screensaver Settings.

• Idle Timer - when enabled the Idle Action will take effect whenever there is no activity or fullscreen playback.
• Delay in seconds - the amount of time MediaPortal is idle before the Idle action is applied.
• Idle Action - choose whether you wish to blank the screen, or to reduce the framerate and save CPU and power.
• Load Plugin - Instead of blanking the screen or reducing the frame rate, you can now start a plugin when the idle timer runs out.
   

As soon as you access MediaPortal again, it will revert from idle to 'active' mode.

Note:  MediaPortal must be running fullscreen for the screensaver option to work.
