Testing Versions SVN BGN

The Svn version is meant for the latest in-development version of Mediaportal. 

The Svn version helps Mediaportal users to keep track of the skin development, providing new features, fixes, updates and new supported plugins. 

Initial set up

Use TortoiseSVN to download the latest in-development version of the skin:

• Download TortoiseSVN
• Install TortoiseSVN
• Reboot
• Open your Mediaportal skin folder, usually "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin". Use this page to find the Mediaportal skin folder.
• Create a new folder called "Black Glass Nova"
• Right click on "Black Glass Nova" folder and select "SVN Checkout"
• Enter for "URL of repository":

• http://blackglass.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Black Glass Nova for Mediaportal 1.2.0 if you are using Mediaportal 1.2
• http://blackglass.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Black Glass Nova for Mediaportal 1.3 if you are using Mediaportal 1.3
• http://blackglass.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Black Glass Nova for Mediaportal 1.4 if you are using Mediaportal 1.4 or higher

• Select "HEAD revision" for "Revision"
• Click "OK". TortoiseSVN will download the skin.

Skin Updates

If you want to update the skin, right click on "Black Glass Nova" folder and select "SVN Update"

Remember to delete the Mediaportal cache folder (usually "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache") every time you update the skin. Use this guide to clear the Mediaportal cache folder.
