Overview

The Trakt & Latest Media tab in MyFilms Setup allows you to enable or disable those features per config.

Trakt & Latest Media Setup

Note: Remember to save your config/settings before switching to another config.

Enable Trakt Synchronization

Enable TRAKT synchronization for each config and/or database catalog you wish to synchronize.

Once you have enabled Trakt, My Films will automatically integrate with the Trakt plugin, so when you watch a movie (or change the watch status) or rate the movie, it will automatically update your user profile on Trakt.tv website. See Trakt Setup for more information on setting up Trakt for multi-users, on different client PCs, or enabling different features.

See Using MyFilms > Trakt for further info on synchronizing watched status and counts, ratings and Trakt Categories.

Enable Recently Added Media

My Films v 6.0.0 or later supports the Latest Media Handler plugin, so you can display films recently added to My Films on Basic Home screens in skins that support it. The new Views Menu as of My Films v 6.0.0 will also display your latest media if enabled.

  1. Enable support for My Films in Latest Media Handler (v 1.0.0.7 or later ) Configuration - MediaPortal Configuration > Plugins under Process Plugins.
  2. Enable 'Recently Added Media' for each config you wish

Note:  This setting is per My Films Configuration. If you have multiple configurations or databases, you may enable 'Recently Added Media' for some and not others. If you have multiple configs based on the same catalog/database, you should only enable one config to avoid duplicate entries.

No additional setup is required for Recently added media. For further info about display in MyFilms see Using My Films > Recently Added.
