Overview

Listen to recommendations based on your play history, tune into similarly tagged music, or listen to favorite tracks of your Last.fm friends and neighbours.

Introduction

FIrst, you must register at last.fm.  Registration is only free in the United States, although you can sign up for a 30 day free trial.

To use the advanced features of last.fm you must also enable the Audioscrobbler plugin, and enter you username and password in Configuraiton > Plugins > Audioscrobbler

You can also select some options or settings in Configuration > Plugins > Last.fm,.

Menu Options

When you first open the Last.fm plugin, you must select Start / Change Stream to display a menu of options which are based on your settings on the Last.fm website.

• Start / Change Stream - see above
• Artist - Select the button to choose similar tracks (can be disabled in Audioscrobbler Configuraiton)
• Tags - based on your Tags on the Last.fm site - select the button to choose a tag
• Friends - Based on your friends on Last.fm site - select the button to choose a friend
• Activate Scrobbling - let Last.fm search for songs similar to your friends and tabs

Select a Stream

When you select Start / Change Stream  a menu of options will display, based on your settings on the Last.fm website:

Simply select an option to start playing music from last.fm:

Last.fm Actions

While a track or song is playing, press F9 or the Info/More key on your remote for the actions context menu:

Selecting a similar artist or tag will change your stream to that artist or tag and  then display  tracks related to that stream.
