Select or change the options for the Now Playing window - a fullscreen display while music is playing.

Settings

You may also configure these settings using the MediaPortal Configuration Tool, see Configuration > Music (Now playing)

Select Now Playing from the Music Settings menu:

Dynamic Content

• Disable internet lookups for similar tracks - prevent MediaPortal from connecting to the internet service and providing the list of similar tracks on the Now Playing screen.

VuMeter

MediaPortal supports the display of VU (Volume Unit) Meters on the Now Playing screen but only when using the default BASS player. 

These are very similar to the VU Meters. or volume indicators, often included in audio equipment to display a signal level in Volume Units.

Press the VU Meter button and select on of the following options:

• *None* -  no VU Meter is displayed 
• *Analog* - displays an analog VU meter:
  
• *LED* - displays a LED (light-emitting diode) VU Meter
