Many Thanks for your interest in Media-Buddy. The main goal of Media-Buddy is to simplify and speed up daily work with video files. The basic use is pretty simple. You choose what you want to do, select the folder to work on and let Media-Buddy do the rest without further interaction.

The new Media-Buddy brings you wizards for any kind of media rework. The program can decide if a video or audio file  needs to be recoded, remuxed or only be renamed and enriched with fanart and metadata with a single mouse click.

Aside this all options known from MKV-Buddý are available too, most of them are enhanced or completely redone. Since you now can not only edit video, but also audio files, the old name did no longer fit. In addition to the already working function (mass) transcoding of audio files, there also should be functions for generating .nfo files for audio, quite similar to the known .nfo for videos. This feature is being under heavy development atm. There are already positive results. But some fine-tuning is still needed.

A manual is not available today, also we are working on it. So if you ran into trouble using Media-Buddy feel free to ask in the forums...

 In addition, next to the processing of music (transcoding, ater metadata and assistant) there is a manual post-processing of fanart and metadata for movies, series, videos and later also music available. A switch from MKV Buddy 2 is worthwhile in any case ...
