New Wiki online

Today our new WIKI went online!
One of the benefits of the new wiki system is that you dont have to learn wiki syntax to be able to add contend. You can choose if you want to use the text- (wiki syntax) or the GUI- (wysiwyg) Editor. Using the GUI editor is as simple as using Word.

Target of the new wiki is to provide the users and new deveoplers with all the important informations they need at one place:

  • MediaPortal Manual
  • QuickReference
  • FAQ
  • Supported TV-Cards
  • ContributorsGuide
  • Recommed HTPC Configurations
  • Tips and Tricks
  • ...
and much more will be availabe.

In order to keep the informations up to date and to add much content as quick as possible we are looking for dedicated writers. If you are interested send a email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
