Team MediaPortal goes JIRA
Some of you might already have noticed that we switched from Mantis to JIRA during the weekend.
We thought about replacing Mantis for a long time already and we finally we able to make it. The import from Mantis to JIRA was done without any troubles. Besides JIRA we are also running a FishEye & Crucible instance, which allow a seamless integration between the source code commits at github, the issues at JIRA and doing code reviews more efficiently.
All these things will increase the transparency of the development processes and thus increase the efficiency and quality.
Herewith we would like to say: THANK YOU, Atlassian ( http://www.atlassian.com/) for providing us open-source licenses for your products as well as many add-ons from within your marketplace.
Thanks for supporting open source projects.
