The long awaited solution....
I love mediaportal.. but always enviously looked at xbmc because of airplay support... and NOW here it is..

One word...
Awesome! This has changed the way that we play media in the household. As users of iPhones and iPads it is also fantastic to be able to play photos that you have snapped on these devices.
