MediaPortal skins offer a variety of looks and styles to suit your taste, even different user interfaces. or screen sizes. Many skins offer a choice of layouts, font sizes and options for your Home screen
Installation
Our Extensions Installer (MPEInstaller or MPEI) can browse skins, view screenshots, install, update and configure settings, even within MediaPortal by using the companion Extensions plugin
Changing Skins
Use as many different skins as you wish, and switch skins from within MediaPortal Settings, or in the Configuration program

Choose your style of home screen, windowed mode size, sound effects, scroll speeds, date formats, scroll bars, navigation controls or many more user interface features to use with your favorite skin
Customization
Skins are created using xml files and easy to modify even using Notepad, although knowledge of skinning is required for advanced modification

MediaPortal skins offer not only a variety of looks and styles to suit your taste, but even different user interfaces. There are skins for every screen size, including touch screen support; or small TV screens requiring larger fonts. In many skins you can choose the layout and options available on your home window. Some skins even provide Christmas add ons for you to enjoy the holiday season.

Just check the Latest Downloads link or better yet, add it to your RSS Feeds so you always know when a new release is available for your favorite skin.

Install and Update
MediaPortal offers a standard installer for all skins. Just double click the installer and the skin will install automatically for you.
Not only that, the Extensions Manager will keep track of all your installed skins, allow you to uninstall or reinstall them, and tell you when updates are available.
Changing Skins
You may use as many different skins as you wish, and switch skins from within MediaPortal or in the Configuration program.
MediaPortal supports many languages, so your skins will always display in the language of your choice.
Settings
There are many options you can configure for your skins such as the style of home screen you prefer, windowed mode size, sound effects and scroll speeds.
